How long are the classes?All classes are 55 minutes, unless noted differently in the class description.

How do I make a reservation for a class?Feel free to give us a call at 213 361-5833 or enroll through our Class Schedule.

What to wear and bring to first class?Always click on the class name on the schedule to learn what to wear and bring for each class. Please DO NOT wear anybody lotions or oils to class as it makes the pole slippery and dangerous. Ladies dress comfortably. Tank tops, shorts, or yoga capris. Expose your ankles/heels. For intermediate/advanced classes you will need sports shorts or hot shorts. Bare legs are necessary to grip the pole for climbing and inversions. Cloth-style knee pads (optional). These protect your knees during floor work and can be purchased at any sporting goods store for around $10.If you own a yoga mat, please bring it to class. Please leave all hand-wrist jewelry at home! Why? You can lose diamonds and damage your jewelry and the poles.

Where do I buy exotic dance stilettos?At Evolve, they begin at $40.

Do I need to get in shape/lose weight before I start to pole dance?No, women of all body types and fitness levels are welcome in our classes. Pole Dancing will help tone and sculpt your body. The maximum weight for the X-Pole is 280 pounds.

Do I need have dance experience? What if I am not flexible?You do not need dance experience to join a intro or beginner class. We start with a warm up to help develop strength and flexibility. Pole classes start with simple movements that anyone can master. From there, you will build your pole dance skills step by step, day by day or week by week.

Is there an age restrictions for pole dancing?You’ll need to be between 18-100. All sizes, genders and nationalities are welcome.

Where can I get my own pole?You may purchase your own pole at Evolve Dance Studio. We carry the X-Pole brand. Contact us at 213 361-5833.

What is your class refund policy?Once you have registered for a class or series, we do not issue a refund. If necessary, you may transfer your class to a friend or relative.

Do you have a parking lot?There is metered street parking on Pico and free parking on Hayworth Ave. After 6pm and on Weekends you may park in the parking lot through the alley at Hayworth.

WaitlistYou must opt in through your profile to receive emails when creating your online account. This is how you will receive confirmation that you’ve been added to the class.

What happens if you’re late?The doors lock 5 minutes after class begin. Please calculate traffic + parking to be on time, this is LA!!!

What Pole class should I take if I’m new to Pole Dancing?You should begin with Pole Virgin and any classes that include Level 1 in the title.

How do I check in ?Check in on the iPad, please check in for each of your classes.

Can’t make it to class, need to reschedule?Cancel 6 hours before your class in your account or via text (3238638203)or you'll be charged $27/forfeiture for each class.

How do I cancel my Membership?Notify us 30 days in advance, to avoid the $297 penalty.

How do I reschedule my Pole Party?Please reschedule 48 hours in advance or you will lose the non-refundable deposit. There’s no fee to increase your party from 60-90 minutes. To downgrade there’s a 20% fee.
